Start at Spring Creek and finish at Pope
Beach
A point to point
course
on the bike path, course starting quarter of a mile south of Spring Creek Road
on the bike path and heading south to the Marathon Finish line at Pope Beach. Run
across Taylor Creek and glimpse the spawning salmon and through the lake front Valhalla Historical site and finish
at the marathon finish line.
Medals for all finishers, wind shirts for participants, overall awards for
winners and masters, and 5 year age division
awards.
Baby strollers are welcome for the 5K (and 10K) as we do not run on
any streets. Part of the course is on dirt trail.
Shuttle Bus from the Horizon Hotel or at the Highway 50 & Emerald Bay Road intersection across from the Tahoe Valley Post Office.
