• There will be no refunds for any reason.

• Please do not enter if you do not think you can attend or fear that the event will be cancelled.

• Dangerous weather conditions such as snow or ice could cause cancellation of bus service to the start lines.

• The event could  be rescheduled for the next day under these conditions.

• The Lake Tahoe Marathon is a 501 C 3 non profit corporation.

• If the event is cancelled for any reason, including dangerous weather, war , terrorism, there will be no refunds.
  (It is easier for one person to suffer a small loss, compared to one entity to go bankrupt.)

Change your event or correct your personal data at the expo

• To change from a longer to shorter event, email  your change here. (no refund of difference in fee)

• To change or correct your personal data send an email here

• No charge if change is made before your personalized race number is printed with your first name in large letters.

• September 10, 2008 is the last day to make a free change over the internet

• After that date, an event change is a $10 administrative fee, plus any increase in race fees and will be done at the expo

• Include credit card information to change to a different event that has a higher fee. email for this change here.

Transfer Policy

• Stuff happens- so  you may transfer your entry  to someone else before September 10

• You will need to email the race stating you are transferring and to who you are transferring your entry to.

• The race will email back to you a code that the new athlete will then enter into the on line registration form.

• The code will give the replacement athlete a 60% discount when registering on line.

• The two of you will take care of any price differences, etc..

• This can not be done after September 10, 2008.

• A photo ID is needed to pick up race numbers.

Roll over Policy

• With a written medical reason from an M.D. we will roll over your entry into the next year's event.

• Send an email notification of your intent to cancel  and then fax your medical excuse from your physician to 484-346-3651.

• The next year forward the rollover approval confirmation that you received from the race committee.

• They will email you back a registration code that you  will enter into the registration code box. The code will give you a 60% discount when registering on line.

• You will get an official cancellation notice after the Race Committee receives your medical reason from your Physician.
