Lake Tahoe Marathon Event Week

Volunteers needed

 

This event depends on the good hearted volunteers who make this and all other runs and special events possible.
 If you or your club, group, family,  friends, spouse, relative, older son or daughter would enjoying helping at our event
we have a number of areas that we need volunteers to make our event a success.

Please email the race director with a name, shirt size and contact information and we will get back to you with details.

The local volunteer meeting will be at the Horizon Casino in one of the Ballrooms at 6 PM
on Wednesday evening of Race Week.

We will have several door prizes. Get there early and you get two raffle tickets.
After 6pm you will get one ticket a the door good for many prizes.

Friday Kayak Race Help with start at Timbercove Lodge/ help set buoys
Friday Swim Life Guard at Zephyr Cove
Friday Kayak-Swim Help with timing or passing out medals
Saturday 35 Mile Bike Race Help bikes at the Tahoe City 35 mile Bike start lines, water bottle station in Tahoe City
Saturday 72 Mile Bike Race Help at start line and finish line at Zephyr Cove Lodge
Saturday 72 Mile Bike Race Man water bottle station at Emerald Bay
Saturday Expo Help Pass out race numbers & Wind Shirts
Saturday Bike Man water bottle station at Incline Village
Saturday Finish Line Help set up finish line
Saturday Bike Help set up finish road pylons
Saturday Bike Help at the Bike Finish Line on Saturday
Saturday Finish Line Help with the Kids Fun Runs
Sunday Marathon Start Help monitor, pass out pins, numbers, pins at start line at Commons Beach
Sunday 20 Mile Walkers Help guide start, collect warm up bags
Sunday Half Marathon Help set up start area on Saturday and Sunday morning, pass out water, collect warm up bags
Sunday 10K Help unload buses around, collect race bags, put out pylons, water, pass out pins, crowd control
Sunday Driver Drive pickup truck or pull trailer with warm up bags to the finish line
Sunday Aid Stations Help pass out drinks and snacks on the Marathon Race Course
Sunday Spectator Bus Ride and organize Spectator Bus
Sunday Warm up Bags Pass back runners race bags after they finish
Sunday Finish Line Finish Line to greet finishers and put medals around necks
Sunday Finish Line Snip timing chip off runners at finish line
Sunday Finish Line Help distribute food at the Finish Line Picnic
